Came here the other weekend with my friend as we both really enjoy exploring fragrances. Arielle has a really nice collection of niche personality scents across price ranges. The space was very inviting and the staff were very kind and even offered us sparkling water. I took two samples home to see how I would like them with on me. Although I did not find my fall fragrance that day, I hope to come back and explore again.

It was the most amazing experience to speak with and be guided by Arielle as I discovered what perfume I was drawn to the most. Her expert knowledge and patience along with her ease of understanding her customers preferences was outstanding. The shop has so many niche brands with a wide array of unique scents! Loved the process and it has become my favourite place to shop for fragrances.

I blind ordered online - my picks were The Long Weekend sample pack and a full size bottle of Monday. All of which (especially Monday) smell AMAZING. But I was so impressed by the complimentary sample and the hand written note card! What a pleasant surprise and nice touch! Will definitely be ordering again!

Every visit to Arielle Shoshana is like going to the gelato shop on a hot summer day. Even if you are not a fragrance fanatic, you will have the best time exploring the store with the help of the lovely, attentive, and knowledgeable staff who will gently guide you to something that will speak to you. In addition to the curated selection of niche and (mostly) unisex fragrances, AS has their own perfume line that is absolutely beautiful. While I adore the earl grey-inspired Arielle Shoshana Monday, I ultimately went for Arielle Shoshana Sunday for the comforting matcha horchata scent. I am also indebted to Katri for introducing me to Etat Libre d'Orange's Like This, a lightly spicy pumpkin orange fragrance that I would never picked for myself in a million years if left to my own devices, but is now my favorite autumn/winter scent. I have and will continue to take my friends here, whether it's a special trip to the store or just kicking around at the Mosaic District. P.S. I can't wait to see the rest of the Arielle Shoshana Weekend Line as it comes out!

*THE* place to go for a great fragrances for the body & home (they have candles too)! If you’re the type of person that wants to take your experience beyond merely shopping, Arielle Shoshana is your spot. You will not only receive the best recommendations but you’ll learn so much about fragrance notes, combinations, & more. Love that their super professional (but still fun & easy-going) staff put so much focus on educating their guests. There’s never pressure to buy, although you’re going to find it hard not to. The selection is amazing & there are price points for everyone! So glad they have curated such a fabulous set of products & a great retail environment. Small businesses are hard to come by these days, especially in Northerm VA, so please go & tell a friend or ten. I need these ladies to stick around!
P.S. they always have the best recommendations on where to happy hour 😉 Hence our fragrance finds + food/drink finds!

I was thrilled to find that we had a dedicated niche fragrance store in our area. It is reminiscent of the fragrance boutiques of Manhattan or Europe. I had a great experience at this shop. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. I wanted a fresh fragrance for the summer which would be easy to wear for my teenage boys. They guided me to a fantastic, below-the-radar and unique scent from an indie brand; it was such a good fougère fragrance that I kept it for myself and I have truly enjoyed wearing it. I will certainly be returning for more great finds and will, in particular, visit to get a fresh, young scent for my boys. This shop was a great discovery.
