I just purchased a suit, shirt and tie in the Leeds store and I am extremely satisfied with the service I have been given. The seller called James has done excellent job and he knew what he was doing. He was very friendly, professional and efficient and it didn’t take long to get what I wanted. Other colleagues were also very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this shop.

Some nice items for smart menswear and more casual style clothing, shame the service doesn’t match. Staff only ever seem to bother with people already in smart clothing. They glance at you and continue walking away, not even saying hello when all they are doing are wandering aimlessly around the shop floor. Would be very willing to spend quite heavily in here, if the service was up to par.No interest in helping you unless you’re already in a suit so forget going in on your days off in casual wear.

Visited the store yesterday as I was looking for a birthday present for my Brother..I have to say I received the best level of Customer Service from Thomas...An absolute credit to the team..He really helped in finding me the perfect gift..He listened to the type of garment I was looking for and suggested options within my budget too..No sales pitch..Just really helpful and genuine..We have been to Slaters before and the staff have always been really helpful..I can't fault them in any way..They have an extensive range of Menswear to suit different budgets..I would highly recommend you visit the store...It's a lovely experience which is rare these days. Thankyou to all the staff there..We will be back?

Brilliant customer service from Kiran & Lewis 🙂 Kiran went above and beyond to help me find the right look i was looking for. Lewis is the guy to make you feel good soon as you walk in. both made me feel welcome and the relationship as colleagues is refreshing.

Potentially the worst customer experience of my life. An extremely aggressive older man took us upstairs - he is clearly paid on commission and knows no way to sell a suit outside of intimidation. He bombarded us with questions, scowled at every answer and was very physical shoving suits on my boyfriend. When me and my partner felt uncomfortable, we wanted to leave and he all but physically stopped us. Another suit store said they have the same experience daily of people coming to them due to his incompetence. Get him gone.

Genuinely shocked at all the positive reviews that have been left here. Where to start? Appointments aren’t a thing here, you could have 0 customers in the shop one minute, and 15 the next - with one or two members of staff to measure and give advice? Really think some appointments would go a long way for staff and customers - even if it was just for certain periods during the week?

Started a grooms party, as multiple groomsmen were dotted around the country - every time someone went into their local shop to be measured, wedding party couldn’t be found on “the system”, we thought we sorted that after 2/3 phone calls where no one had a clue who the grooms party was. This was a continued theme EVERY single time someone went into a shop to be measured, in the beginning and towards the end. There is something seriously wrong with “the system”

Initially, we were not given the correct information. We picked a suit immediately, and was told to come back around 6 weeks away from the wedding for final measurements for alterations (nothing mentioned about payments needed to hold the suits) — us at this time thinking suits were sorted and we just needed to turn up at a later date for measurements and payment.

Time goes by and we get back into the store with 6 weeks to go until the wedding, to find that suits don’t get held for you unless you pay (had we have known this we would’ve paid on the initial visit)
By this time the suit we had picked had limited stock around the country but with a few phone calls they could organise the sizes we needed thankfully - this amongst STILL having issues finding the wedding party on “the system” (this happened every single time someone went into the store, sizes weren’t documented, and then some how they were?)

We ended up with suits just over a week away from our wedding - don’t get me wrong a lovely suit - but if I could go back and not have the hassle of Slaters inadequate system then I’d have gone somewhere else.

Can’t complain about the staff, they are all just doing what they can - their life would be easier if things where slightly different.

Loads of choice, experienced staff and decent prices. Good place to go for a suit. My other half got sorted. They even do free alterations.
