Great quality and great prices. Customer service was also top notch. The staff was patient with us in choosing my partner’s suits and helped recommend colours that would go with a specific waistcoat colour & design. My partner forgot to wear a white shirt on the day but the staff kindly provided one even though it’s not the norm for them to do so. We’re loyal customers now !

Good selection of suits and accessories, located right in the centre of the city, easy to find.

The staff are really helpful and know what they’re talking about. Got me a suit in a few minutes, I tried it on and they measured up for alterations which are free! Collection in 7 days, plenty of time to spare until the wedding in a few weeks.

Overall very happy with suit I selected and the service I received.

I would recommend Slaters to anyone looking for an affordable suit in Edinburgh.

I'm not a slim man, and clothes shopping can often be a bit stressful. Sam was incredibly helpful, with a really good eye for fittings. She also encouraged me to try a colour I've never considered before, which worked really well.

Beyond this, the prices are amazing for the quality and variety of fabrics and cuts, and the quality of the staff. I went in expecting to spend about £200 on an outfit, and ended up spending £250 on two outfits.

Overall one of the best clothes shopping experiences I've ever had.

Slaters has been my go to for suits for the past 10 years however I received Fairly awful service today. Waited 20 mins to get my size taken whilst two ladies stood chatting behind me.

Eventually got served and found a suit which I felt was too tight, was advised it fitted perfectly. Decided to go with it and try on at home, was taken to the shirt/shoes section and again received rubbish/no service whilst the 2 ladies continued to chat. I decided to leave the suit and walk out.

Got a lovely suit and great service at Moss in St James Quarter.

Service is quite bad, arrogant and rude with a “know it all” attitude.

Something that stood out to me is one of the members of staff told me they don’t let you try on any suits with a shirt, which I found awfully strange considering it’s a specialist suit shop and you can do this in Next/Zara.
