Do not go here!!! I was so disappointed with my experience with Sam’s tailor. We went to look at a suit and we’re convinced it was the best quality and fabric and then when we go back after alterations, it looks like a different jacket than the one we had selected. We asked for a refund saying that this is not what we chose and it wasn’t fitting correctly, but they refused to give us a refund. We left the suit there, intent on disputing the charges on the credit card. However, that dispute never went through as Sam’s tailoring claimed I had the suit. At the end of the day I was out $700 and I don’t even have a suit to show for it. Considering small claims court .

This is my first time writing a review for anything!!! But I need to warn others

Anyone looking to buy suits for a wedding party....BEWARE. Or better yet DON'T!!!! I just made that mistake a couple of weeks ago for my wedding. I wasn't happy with the fit with the rentals at another place so decided to buy a tux for me and suits for my groomsmen. I tried on a slim fit suit, which fit great and had the slim lapel I was after since day 1. I was told the only difference between the suit I tried on and the tux was the material the lapel was made of. After checking with the man at the store 4 times that the lapel was the same width, I agreed to buy my tux and 5 suits for the groomsmen. Stupidly I paid up front. I was measured up for a shirt also. My groomsmen were measured up and had fittings.

Where to begin.

My Tux came in and was nothing as described and payed for. Wasn't a slim fit as promised and the lapel was much wider than the suits for the groomsmen, I was told that there is no such thing for a tux, which is a lie because I tried on plenty of others, and that he'd get the tailors to skinny the lapel. He also took measurements to slim my suit for a better fit. Again, something I was promised on my 1st visit.

Day before the wedding we go into to pick up everything.
Nothing had changes on my tux. NOTHING.
1 of my groomsmen couldn't even close his jacket, even after being fitted and paid for adjustments to the sleeve. He got him the wrong size. We ended up having to get a completely different jacket to the others. They didn't even refund the charge for the adjustments for the jacket he couldn't wear.

Our off white shirts that we ordered and payed for were....Lemon colored. They refused to switch them out for plain white. Not that it mattered we discovered later that even the shirts were completely the wrong size. I'm a 15 neck and I was given a 16 1/2. NOT EVEN CLOSE. My wife and I, ended going to another store to buy new white shirts.

My sister who was a bridesmaid brought her dress in to be altered, after he said there was a discount because we bought suits. No discount was given and the dress didn't fit after 2 fittings.

I know I"m forgetting after issues, there were just too many to remember. They added so much stress to my wedding as well as extra cost because they are unable to do what they say. When the man working there says "no problem, no problem" He is full of it. I was scammed and ripped off. AVOID, AVOID AVOID!!!!

Did not call me when my suit was ready as they said they would. When I tried to return my suit, the store hours open an hour later than specified online, and even after their store hours say they should be open, no-one was there, and noone answered when I called to ask. I was later called back and told that the person opening was running late, and may be there an hour after they should have opened.

The service is terrible, but I have to be honest that the suit looked good and fit well, and at least seemed reasonably priced to my lack of experience.

I had several jackets taken and am very happy with the work. My wife also brings all her alterations to Sam and he takes good care of us!
