I have spent hundreds, if not thousands over the years at this place. Today they almost snapped my real ID in half then tried to hold it and make me pay for something they wouldn’t give me until I came back with a passport. Absolutely absurd, I know so many people who use Fake ID’s there and they accept it no problem, but a loyal customer they disrespect and true to break their ID. Load ‘N Jug is across the street and is 1000% better. Only kept going here because the employees knew me and I value loyalty. However I will never give them another dime of my hard earned money.

Long time local been here plenty of times but man am I never visiting again. This new younger cashier is a huge pain. Went to buy a six pack and he stood there for five minutes studying my ID, questioned me on my address, birthdate, even my weight. Told me to take my hat and glasses off, which I did, but eventually refused service. I asked why and he couldn't explain.. barely spoke English so maybe a factor. First time that's ever happened to me and I'm almost 30. Make things worse, some kid that looked half my age checked through after me no problem, with a bunch of hard liquor - wasn't even asked for his ID. Looked a whole lot like the cashier though (Indian? middle eastern?) so can't help but wonder.

Wanted to call Golden PD and prove my ID but knew better than to waste their time. Just went to another store with of course no issue. Save yourself the grief and do the same, go to another store.

0/5 stars if possible. By far the worst "liquor store" I've ever been to in my life. The place is over priced and the workers don't have any sort of customer service. They will try to make you feel dumb for some sort of sick self gratification. I would rather drive all the way across town than to go back here. I recommend going somewhere else if possible. Last resort, I still wouldn't go to this place again.

I've gone in to this "gas station" multiple times and purchased (flat) soda or chips but today was by far the worst experience yet. I bought 2 Minute Maid bottles of orange juice and it was spoiled, I called to let them know and the man I talked to did not care at all. He just kind of brushed it off. I asked them to take the remaining ones off the shelf so other customers don't the get surprise I did and when I went back they were all still there, I am disgusted and disappointed to say the least and I will never be back.

Great prices. Open late enough. Managers need to price all of the items on the shelf/fridge so customers don't need to ask/guess. Friendly staff.

These guys are awesome, and the location could not be more convenient. I have seen liquor stores twice this size with less selection. Always very clean, friendly staff, and prices are very competitive.
