The wife and I popped in here on a random Saturday during a two-day visit to York. What a delight! This is the way shopping used to be, the way it was meant to be: attentive, polite service, advice when needed, without being overbearing. Lovely little shop, jam-packed with quality wares, all at reasonable prices. That's a winning formula in my book!

We called in on Wednesday 4th September as I was wanting a set up to go with my vintage car, staff are lovely, nothing is a problem, beautiful fit, clothing, ended up buying a full outfit, shoes, socks, trousers, shirt, waist coat, jacket and cap, also got the wife a lovely tweed coat, my new go to shop, stunning

We stumbled upon this gem of a store randomly. We left with a beautiful suit and sports coat. Unfortunately, we weren't thinking and didn't get the tie that the suit was paired with. A month or so later, after we returned to the states, I called and spoke with the absolutely amazing Zoe. She sent us pictures of a variety of options that would work beautifully with our purchases. We decided on 3 ties. The shipping was reasonable and lightening fast. We received them exactly 1 week after placing the order. I can't recommend this place enough. Everything from the quality of the clothes to the professionalism of each person who helped us made this experience top notch.

Bought a shirt in their sale which was on display, packaged in the shop window. I asked if it was long or short sleeved as I wanted a long sleeved shirt. Packaged up, charged and I left it in the package until I got home, 200 miles away. Its a short sleeved shirt. Never wear them. Did contact the shop no response.
