I would highly recommend Iona and I just wish I had been in touch with her sooner for a tongue tie assessment. Iona is professional, highly knowledgeable and amazing with babies! The feeding assessment was so supportive & her impact has been massive for our little boy! Would do this all again in a heartbeat. It was such a positive experience. Thank you so much Iona.

Would 100% recommend… Iona is not only so knowledgeable and reassuring she is caring patient and listens to you. After being told that our daughter’s tongue tie was ok numerous times I just knew it wasn’t, and private was our only option, I am so so pleased we went. The procedure was fast and totally professional. Her feeding has improved rapidly and she is without a doubt happier in herself, would highly recommend.

100% recommend. Iona and her husband were very friendly and welcoming. They provided a professional service. Iona spoke to me about the procedure, asked me questions about my son’s feeding and diagnosed him with 100% tongue tie. She went through lots of information with me and made sure I was happy to go ahead with the procedure. She also provided aftercare and exercises to do and still checks in with me. The procedure itself was very quick and she helped me with feeding afterwards. I had the procedure done 11 days ago and there is such a difference. We have no more spit ups or sick after milk. My son used to gag and store food in his mouth when eating as he didn’t have the tongue flexibility. There’s no more of that anymore. It’s made such a big difference and I can’t thank Iona enough.

I recently took my son to get his tongue tie cut here. The NHS really were not helpful with us at all but Iona was amazing! She taught us the best way to feed and explained why he had the symptoms he did and was amazing. She explained the procedure very well and talked us through it putting our minds at ease. She explained all the aftercare and then followed up to see how our son was going. All in all a very good service

So grateful we found Iona. Our little boy had a 75% tongue tie, we were constantly told it was mild and tongue tie doesn't affect bottle fed babies, by the NHS and health visitors. Iona sensed our nerves and spent time explaining everything and really put us at ease. The procedure took a matter of seconds and my baby was back in my arms drinking a bottle with the best latch ever! Within a week, his reflux has reduced, he's sleeping better, he now LOVES tummy time and most importantly, he is drinking more and keeping more down. I wish we found Iona sooner, she's amazing!

I don’t think 5 stars is enough to credit Iona for the work that she does! Our baby battled for months with reflux, a poor latch and intense feeding discomfort. Due to being bottle fed we were offered no oral assessment so Tongue Tie North East was our last hope.

I honestly can’t thank Iona enough, she’s been amazing from start to finish. Our baby was diagnosed with a 50% tongue tie (missed by so many other health care professionals) which was cut there and then. In the few days since, we have a much more settled baby and have Iona’s ongoing support should we need it.

Again, we’re just so grateful for Iona’s help, I’m so glad I followed my instincts and made the appointment (and was proven right)!

Couldn’t thank Iona enough! She is amazing, a miracle worker. Iona is such a lovely woman, she had a lot of contact with us prior to the appointment, took the time to explain everything properly and got to know my son during and has had lots of amazing contact after to check in!
My son barely cried during the procedure and has healed amazingly!

My son had a pretty significant tongue tie resulting in colic symptoms, a shallow latch, lots of wind and falling asleep on bottles, lip blisters and took an hour or more to finish a 4-5oz bottle. Now he can drink a 6oz bottle in 25 minutes and his latch has improved significantly along with an extreme reduction in his colic symptoms. He eats better he sleeps better and is generally happier! We couldn’t thank Iona enough!
